The Senior Art Director articulates and champions the key values underpinning the strategic and creative execution of client accounts. We need someone who is a thinker, problem solver and conceptual juggernaut who can also independently implement primary design direction that incorporates best practices in design and technology. They are collaborative and flexible as they juggle multiple projects with ease with solid experience leading teams in delivering creative excellence and owns creative deliverables on projects from brief to final build. This role reports to the Chief Creative Officer.
What you’ll do:
Take a leading role in managing the agency's relationship with clients, including presenting creative strategies and proposals
Help to foster collaborative engagement with clients and internal project teams
In charge of coming up with creative communications concepts, TTL campaigns, and executions that meet the clients’ strategic business intent and objectives — big bold ideas that challenge the status quo is what we look for!
Work closely with the Associate Creative Director(s) and Creative Director(s) to ensure concepts are not just effective, but also align with the company’s vision for creative excellence
Ensure quality creative output by maintaining and enhancing creative standards and processes
Guide, support, and motivate the creative team throughout the design and development process, ensuring successful and timely delivery of all projects
Demonstrate and maintain quality excellence in layout, typography, illustration, and photography, as well as staying current with creative and design trends, marketing principals, cultural issues, and emerging technologies
Assist in pitches and initiatives aimed at securing new business opportunities that contribute to the agency’s growth
Experience in the aviation and travel industry is a big plus
Play a pro-active role in pushing for and executing award-winning type of work
What you’ll need:
Minimum 6 years’ experience as professional Art Based Creative/Designer in a multimedia agency, advertising agency, or design studio.
Strong portfolio that demonstrates excellence in campaign conceptualisation and execution, showcasing mastery in layout, typography, illustration & design etc.
Highly skilled in various design software and programmes such as Illustrator, Photoshop and the like
Possess a keen eye for detail and able to communicate creative/design solutions with confidence, ease and clarity
Creative, ever curious and an outgoing personality are a plus
Possessing shiny, metal thingsnot needed but highly appreciated
