Senior Architect

Job Title: Senior / Executive Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Executive Architect to join our team at Careers@Gov. As a key member of our architectural design team, you will be responsible for promoting quality architectural design and a sustainable transport environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop schematic design proposals and coordinate enhancement works for existing MRT stations and related infrastructure.
2. Prepare tender specifications, execute feasibility studies, design and development, documentation, and liaise with consultants and contractors.
3. Site manage the architectural aspects of projects and review developers' building plan submissions and contractors' shop drawings.
4. Write funding papers and prepare and deliver presentations.

Requirements:

1. Tertiary qualification in Architecture, recognised by the Board of Architects, Singapore.
2. At least 3 years of relevant working experience in architectural design and practice.
3. Good knowledge of CAD software (incl. AutoCAD, Sketchup, micro station and Revit) and functional drafting capability.
4. Able to communicate ideas and concepts well via writing and speaking.
5. Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
6. Interest in design and problem solving.
7. Experience in rail projects will be an advantage.
