Senior Application Engineer ( Motion Control )

Job Description:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the Marketing team to promote the company’s latest Motion Controllers & servo motors in pre & post-sales proposals.
• Provide product trainings/technical trainings/seminars at distributors’/end-users’ premises.
• Support new OEM Account Development for the ASEAN Region.
• Work closely with the sales team and application team to make solution proposals.
• Conduct market studies & provide the latest updates on market trends and conditions, competitor information gathering.
• Prepare presentation proposal material for targeted OEM customers.
• Create & document a technical/solution/success stories database.
• Able to travel within ASEAN countries if support is requested from other Group Companies.
• Provide support on exhibitions and seminars arranged in-house or by distributors.
• Promptly respond to end-users/distributors’ technical inquiries; preferably within 2 days.
• Keep awareness of new product launches and acquire technical knowledge.
• Keep superiors informed of important communications with customers and share common information.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering with some working experience in servomotors, controllers/PLC, or automation products.
• Confident in conducting trainings/seminars to large audiences.
• Willing to provide hands-on pre & post-sales technical solutions.
• Knowledge in drives is an added advantage.
