Senior Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Define and Document Equipment process requirement and specification
• Perform Process characterization to optimize critical process paths in order to meet equipment specification
• Review, simplify and optimize Internal Buy Off specification for equipment together with Quality Assurance Department
• Participate in continuous process improvement activities to enhance Equipment capability
• Support Equipment manufacturing activities by helping to trouble-shoot and resolve process-related issues
• Support other internal departments to handle customers’ process related issues and recommend technical solutions
• Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and conduct process capability studies
• Transfer process knowledge to in house Engineers and Technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Equipment UPH projection calculation base on specific process parameter

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Production / Mechanical / Material Science Engineering
• At least 3 years experience in an equipment manufacturing environment with a process engineering and background
• Strong interest in the development of new manufacturing processes
• Experience in process design and control in the area of laser marking process
• Knowledge in Material Science will be added advantage
• Knowledge in cycle time calculation
• Trained in SPC, DOE and other statistical tools
