The TikTok Open Platform team is on a mission to build a platform that bridges content, people and business in TikTok ecosystem. The team focuses on building cross-platform features for both developers and TikTok users, including APIs, SDKs, and InApp services. The platform will enable more interactions across TikTok and its broader ecosystem, enhancing cross-product business values.

Responsibilities

1. Design, test, deploy and maintain user account products.
2. Build reusable Android software components for interfacing with our back-end platforms.
3. Work closely with product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for Android.
4. Evaluate new features technical trade offs and raise code quality of the team.
5. Conduct system designs and code reviews.
6. Collaborate with other engineering teams on joint-effort projects.
7. Analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related areas.
2. 4 years of experience in native Android development.
3. Proficiency in at least one of these programming languages: Java, Kotlin.
4. Good problem-solving, analytical thinking capabilities and exceptional attention to details.
5. Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
2. Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
