The position is part of the site Instrument, control and electrical (ICE) team that provides maintenance and technical support to the Operations and Project teams in the LNG Terminal. The incumbent is responsible for establishing, reviewing and overseeing the integrity of the on-stream continuous analyzers and quality management in the Terminal.
Responsibilities
Maintenance of process on-stream and laboratory analyzers
Work on continuous improvement projects to resolve any issues related to correct functioning of process stream analyzers
Develop and update standard operating procedures for all process stream analyzers, sampling and laboratory equipment
Manage and oversee the laboratory operations with laboratory service provider
Upkeep laboratory related documents such as safety, quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP) and laboratory logbooks delivered by vendor
Addressing customers queries related to measurement and quality management
Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in maintenance of various process analyzers such as Gas Chromatography, Wobbe index analyser, HydroCarbon Dewpoint analyzer, THT analyzer, Auto-sampler etc.
Previous experience in design, installation, commissioning, maintenance of instrumentation and analyzer systems in oil and gas/petrochemical industry/Analyzer vendor is required
Knowledge in ISO17025 - general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
Education
Bachelors degree in engineering; preferably in Chemical/Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
