Job Purpose
You will be part of a high performing team that provides timely financial analytical support for internal decision-making and performance tracking.
The Job
- Carry out management reporting function covering the key business and financial performance indices for Great Eastern Group, ensuring accuracy, relevance, integrity and timeliness of reported financial data.
- Track and analyse key drivers of actual financial performances, providing in-depth analysis into the Company’s financial performance.
- Work closely with various stakeholders across different departments to understand business developments.
- Identify and highlight business risks and opportunities to support the business and strategic decisions.
- Support the Group’s annual business planning and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns/risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
- At least 3 to 5 years working experience in Insurance Industry.
- Prior experience in FP&A and audit is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to work and handle multiple stakeholders in a multinational environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong drive to meet tight project timelines.
- High adaptability to a dynamic changing environment.
- Self-motivated, committed and possess initiative & drive in the job.
- Meticulous and able to work independently.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial/business analytical skills.
