What You’ll Do

Your primary objective is to conduct meticulous background investigations on potential employees, leaving no stone unturned in your quest for the truth. This role is vital in preventing potential risks, maintaining a safe work environment, and fostering a culture of trust and integrity.

As a HR Services Senior Analyst in the Background Verification Team, you will:

  • Embark on a journey through the past: You'll meticulously verify employment history, educational qualifications, and professional references, ensuring that every detail provided by the candidates is accurate.
  • Become a detective in the digital world: Perform public record searches, including criminal background checks and court document reviews, to uncover any potential red flags or concerns.
  • Master the art of the interview: Conduct engaging and insightful interviews with applicants, former employers, and references to assess character, credibility, and fit within our company.
  • Analyze and assess like a pro: Gather and analyze information from various sources, including social media, public databases, and personal interviews, to create a comprehensive profile of each applicant.
  • Seek the truth and resolve mysteries: Identify and investigate discrepancies, following up with diligence to ensure the integrity of the application process.
  • Prepare compelling reports: Summarize your findings in clear, concise investigation reports, providing hiring managers with valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Keep confidentiality as your compass: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to legal standards while managing sensitive information.
  • Stay ahead of the legal game: Keep up to date with relevant laws and regulations to ensure our background check processes are compliant and best-in-class.
  • Be a mentor and guide: Train and mentor colleagues on background check procedures, sharing your expertise to enhance our team's capabilities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work with other regional process counterparts, partners, collaborators, Country HRs, Business HRs, HR Privacy & Security, and Audit teams to standardize, simplify and automate HR operational processes and services.
  • Lead/support in implementing process efficiencies and improvements. Identify and promote standard methodologies.
  • Handle requests in Oracle Service Cloud ticketing system and meet the Service Level Agreement.
  • Respond accurately, expertly, and timely to all requests.
  • Make improvements and adjustments to optimize operational excellence and customer experience.
  • Ensure data privacy and Oracle data standards.
  • Partner with management and key stakeholders to process sophisticated, confidential, time-sensitive data.
  • Make recommendations, participate in UAT testing, implement systems and process improvements.
  • Lead daily operations - including processing and handling complex, confidential, and time-sensitive human resources related data.
  • Look for problem trends and seek opportunities for process improvement.
  • Work and collaborate globally, standardizing, simplifying and automating HR operational processes and services.
  • Perform additional related tasks and duties as needed.
