Senior Analyst, Connectivity Product | Singapore, SG

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, is looking for a Connectivity and Content Senior Product Analyst to join the ICE Global Network (IGN) product team based in Singapore or Hong Kong. The ICE Global Network offers unique content, delivery and execution services through an ultra-secure, highly resilient network. The IGN team manages the Connectivity business including Colocation, Connectivity, Hosting, Content access and Wireless. This role is an opportunity for you to be at the center of the fast-paced IGN business.

The Senior Product Analyst will be supporting the ICE Global Network business in the APAC region with a focus on the product portfolio offered in this region. The Senior Product Analyst will be involved in the day-to-day management of the existing products (network connectivity, hosting, content) while contributing to the development of new offerings.

The Senior Product Analyst will work closely with both internal and external teams, including sales, account management, legal, compliance and regulatory, network and data center operations as well as clients, partners, trading venues and content vendors to ensure technical and commercial success. The role draws on subject matter expertise, business acumen, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the portfolio of products offered by ICE Global Network in the APAC region. Develop a strong understanding of the IGN offering, of our target market customers, and of the local ecosystem (trading participants, vendors, competitors, datacenters, etc...)
• Responsible for day-to-day activities related to the management of the IGN products. Monitor changes (technical, commercial, legal, regulatory) driven by third parties (stock exchanges, content providers, partners) and affecting the IGN business. Analyze impact, translate those changes into internal projects or activities, work with relevant stakeholders (internal/external), oversee progress and ensure readiness, manage communication directly or indirectly.
• Build relationship with the APAC trading venues / exchanges, act as the local point of contact for IGN, and ensure IGN is always up-to-date with changes, initiatives, new offerings, etc...
• Monitor content acquisition costs, revenues and profitability of the IGN offering in APAC.
• Act as the local Subject Matter Expert for IGN products and collaborate with local ICE teams (engineering, legal, data center, PMO, etc...).
• Support the local Sales and Pre-Sales teams for questions related to IGN offerings, both in the APAC region as well as globally: technical questions, pricing, product features, rules and/or specificities, etc. and function as the initial point of contact for product reviews and pricing discussions for non-standard proposals.
• Responsible for the Product documentation for APAC offerings. Work with Marketing and Legal for external collateral (factsheet, FAQ, website).
• Build ad-hoc reports and analysis to identify opportunities, risks and/or gaps.

The level of responsibility and ownership will evolve as the Senior Product Analyst grows in this role.

Knowledge and Experience

• University degree, preferably in technology, engineering, or business.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, networks (LAN/WAN, multicast/unicast) and/or data center environment (colocation).
• 3+ years of experience in a product or technical role.
• Ideally, first experience in capital markets (banks, HFTs, service providers, exchange) with exposure to the technology stack (network connectivity, trading platform, data publisher, feed handler, etc...) and/or interaction with local trading venues (HKEX, JPX, SGX).
• Technology savvy with strong appetite to learn and be involved in technical discussions with internal and external parties.
• Results oriented and problem solver with a strong work ethic and an eagerness to take on new assignments and challenges.
• Autonomous with effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a demanding and fast paced environment. The Senior Product Analyst will be the only representative of the IGN Product team located in the APAC region and as such, will require very effective organization and a solid accountability mindset to handle the time difference with the rest of the team (London, US Eastern).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with capacity to interact and interface with various teams at ICE (engineering, sales, marketing, legal) or outside of the organization (trading venues, partners, vendors, etc...).
