NQAC (Nestlé Quality Assurance Center) Singapore is situated within the R&D Center and is part of the Food Safety network in Nestlé. We are the competency center for contaminant analysis supporting the region of AOA (Asia-Oceania-Africa) by providing the highest quality food safety testing and playing a vital role in safeguarding food and beverage safety.

A day in the life of a Laboratory Support Technician…

Administration

• Document controller for quality system
• Provides administration and secretarial support
• Fixed asset management for NQAC
• In charge of managing facilities and be the contact point for any issues

Customer Service

• Maintain and further develop website presence of NQAC (Intranet, Commercial Portal and Nestlé SG site)
• Generating quotes for analytical service (external customers)
• Identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve customer satisfaction
• Issuance of analytical reports
• Managing incoming calls and customer service enquiries
• Procurement: request for quotation, generate PR, follow up on PO and order status
• Assist in sample handling (receipt, registration)

What will make you successful

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Food Sciences, Finance, Accounting, Business Management or any related field
• Has experience in procurement (ordering & receiving of inventory, planning etc.)
• Scientific curiosity and receptive for coaching
