The Accounts Manager will be responsible for independently handling all accounting functions including financial reporting, payroll, employee claims, and GST filing, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and optimizing financial processes. This is a standalone role requiring strong accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Manage full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Handle payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursements.
Process and review employee expense claims in accordance with company policy.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
Handle filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) in compliance with statutory requirements.
Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
Coordinate financial audits and liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Support management in financial decision-making with relevant reports and analysis.
Maintain accurate documentation and filing of all financial records.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, payroll, GST filing, and reporting standards.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in Marine and Offshore Trade is a plus.
