Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of monthly and yearly financial closing activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting of consolidated accounts.
• Prepare and review profit or loss and balance sheet schedules.
• Lead the external audit process to ensure timely completion for annual filing.
• Manage and oversee the tax compliance process, including liaising with the tax agent on the review and filing of corporate tax and GST.
• Collaborate with team members to review and optimize finance-related processes and systems to improve efficiency.
• Manage bank and treasury-related matters, including preparation of cashflow forecasts and working capital requirements.
• Manage corporate secretarial matters.
• Lead and coach a small team on their daily finance activities.
• Other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned.

• Possesses at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards with hands-on experience in financial consolidation.
• Candidates with an audit background will be preferred.
• Self-motivated and confident with great leadership skills.
• Strong stakeholder management with excellent communication skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.
