What you will be doing
Responsible for supervising the daily accounting and financial operations of the accounts team;
Prepare monthly Club’s journals, accounts and all related management reporting timely;
Ensure the Club’s financial and accounting records are properly kept and recorded in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and compliance with the regulatory requirements;
Preparing monthly I&E Statements;
Liaise with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the completion of statutory reporting, including liaising with auditors on audit-related queries, preparing audit schedules and financial reports for auditors;
Processing of monthly Giro payments and printing statement of accounts;
Participate in Finance committee meetings and operations meetings. Prepare minutes of meetings;
Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related qualifications with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience;
Strong command of written and spoken English;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders;
Independent and able to manage work with minimum supervision;
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail;
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of Pivot Tables, V- look-ups, etc.
