Our client is a leading global advisory firm with expert knowledge and experience in strategic communications, holding an excellent reputation for consulting their clients on organizational needs and communications.

They are looking for a Senior Account Director to lead key client accounts, drive growth, and provide strategic counsel, specifically within the financial communications team.

The Role:
As a Senior Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing high-profile client relationships, providing expert advice on financial communications, corporate reputation, investor relations, and crisis management. Your insights and leadership will help clients enhance their strategic positioning and navigate the complexities of the financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client accounts, ensuring high-quality, effective communication strategies.
  • Provide senior-level counsel to clients on a wide range of financial communications issues, including corporate transactions, regulatory matters, and market positioning.
  • Drive new business development opportunities and grow existing client relationships.
  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated communications campaigns, working closely with internal teams to deliver results.
  • Manage and mentor team members, fostering an environment of collaboration, creativity, and professional growth.
  • Monitor industry trends and financial markets, providing clients with timely insights and recommendations.
  • Act as a key spokesperson for clients, ensuring alignment with their communication objectives and brand values.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in financial communications, public relations, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Profiles from financial communications consultancies, advisories, PR agencies, or in-house backgrounds will be considered, but financial expertise is essential.
  • Proof of managing high-profile client accounts, with experience in corporate communications, investor relations, and crisis management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and delivering results.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear, accessible manner.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in working with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • A deep understanding of the media landscape, financial markets, and regulatory environment in Singapore and the region.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, client-focused environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • A degree in Communications, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
