Security Operations Engineer

The Opportunity:

• Permanent role

• Work hours: Shift work timing

Adecco is partnering with a recognised organisation and they are looking for Security Operations Engineer to join the Team! A great opportunity to work with a company that values diversity, lifelong learning, and individual development.

Responsibilities:

• Support security platforms through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident reporting.
• Provide security architecture recommendations and ensure best-practice configurations.
• Collaborate with SOC teams on incident investigations and manage ticket queues within SLA.
• Perform change request activities, including planning, execution, and documentation.
• Handle daily operations, shift rotations, after-hours support, and maintain proper reporting.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related fields with a minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations, infrastructure, or network.
• Solid understanding of systems and network infrastructure.
• Programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Windows) and certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP) are a plus; must be able to work independently and support after-hours.
