Security Officer/Senior Security Officer (No experience required)

Job Description:

1. Maintain security by ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and team members at MBS.
2. Present a professional image and deal with incidents in a discreet and confident manner.
3. Ensure optimum guest service through the delivery of excellent customer service.
4. Respond to first aid incidents and apply effective first aid skills for customers and team members.
5. Perform security functions at assigned posts and areas within the property.
6. Observe and monitor persons and property to maintain security and safety.
7. Escort or carry valuables as assigned or directed. Valuables may include the transportation of chips and cash as well as documentation.
8. Respond to any emergencies and alarms as directed by Security Operations Control Room and Security Management.
9. Monitor and manage crowd levels within the work environment.
10. Effectively participate in the management of potential safety hazards including fire alarms, emergency situations, bomb threats and building evacuation.
11. Maintain and apply skills to deal with the management of intoxicated persons within the work environment.
12. Handle lost property in accordance to procedures.
13. Participate in training programs.
14. Maintain professional skills by staying abreast of current developments and participating in developmental programs available within and outside the company.
15. Perform other tasks within the IR, including CAT C Special Employee License tasks, as directed by the Vice President, Security Service Department.

Requirements:

1. Minimum secondary school qualification.
2. National Skills Recognition Scheme (NSRS) or WSQ Trained.
3. Possess initiative and be a good team player.
4. Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
5. Able to work overtime and different shifts on short notice.
6. Must have attained PLRD Senior/Security Officer Grade.
