Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the front sales area comprehensively (including cleanliness, anti-theft measures, customer service, product displays, etc.)
- Assist the Store Manager in managing the administration and work systems for the front sales area
- Responsible for assisting the Store Manager in managing the work systems of all front area staff
- Assist the Store Manager with employee administration, including work schedules for front-line staff
- Tasked with managing, organizing, and evaluating VCM (Vendor Contract Management)
- Responsible for providing training and performance evaluations for front sales area staff
- Coordinate with the Middle and Back Area Leaders in the daily store operations
- Assist with recruiting store staff
- Manage store products, including product expiration dates, damages, etc.
- Other ad-hoc retail operations duties as and when required
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Retail Shop Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor preferred
- Willing to be assigned outside of home location (if required)
- Skilled in people development, providing training, and evaluating employee performance
- Experienced in analyzing and evaluating product sales (SKU), planning product needs, etc.
- Experience in assisting with new store openings would be a plus
