Job Description
The Regional IT Infrastructure & Security Section Manager is responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure and security operations within an ASEAN, China, and India Region.
This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions.
The manager will also implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization's data and IT assets from cyber threats.
Main Responsibilities:
Network and Security Responsibilities
Lead Cyber Security efforts to defend against incidents of compromise and coordinate incident response if required
Perform technical requirements and data gathering analysis for technology requests that include networking platforms and services.
Perform capacity planning and sizing on network platform.
Knowledge of network architecture and solution design as it pertains to both operations and projects.
Help establish and ensure SLAs are maintained for identified network services
Provide ongoing support for the company’s WAN, LAN and WLAN infrastructure
Build relationships with key business stakeholders within Company to understand strategic direction and support local operational needs
Develop and implement the Asia strategy for IT equipment, systems, applications and security, in cooperation with the global IT
Propose system enhancements to improve performance and reliability
Work with the team and management to ensure that network monitoring, management, troubleshooting and SLA reporting tools are in place to support “the network”
Help establish, implement, and supervise network partner procedures to drive SLA alignment
Work with network service partners to develop and complete SOWs in support of service request fulfilment and network projects
Responsible for problem management efforts including root cause analysis and information security incident response
Assist in maintaining inventories of the organization’s IT assets within the scope of this job description
Assist the Network Operations Center team with the ongoing management of the company’s Network appliances
Support technology audits and complete related service requests
Help develops new network policies and controls as driven by the introduction of new technologies or changes
Understand and implement to Network policies as they relate to the ongoing operation of the company’s network infrastructure
IT Governance Responsibilities
Assess and find opportunities to reduce expenses related to the networking technology and services
When acting in the capacity of a technical lead, handle project related expenses in accordance with the approved project budgets
Assist with the establishment of service and support contracts for systems and services within the scope of the job description.
Manage documentation meticulously.
Supervisory and Management Responsibilities
Develop and manage annual budgets for the IT Infrastructure department
This position has supervision over staff, other support vendors and partners.
Job requirements:
Information Systems or applicable bachelor’s degree required
Preferably possess relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, or similar.
Preferably experienced in a multinational organization.
Preferably possess knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of 8 years applicable professional experience
Demonstrated knowledge of best practice IT policies, standards and guidelines
Working knowledge of IT solutions for manufacturing, sales and distribution operations related to: safety, production, maintenance, economics and equipment utilization
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Experience as a driver for standardization of processes, applications and IT infrastructure as well as the management of change processes
Play key role in shaping new technology paradigm consisting of enterprise level network and
Experience in design, deployment, operation and management of network infrastructure and experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco and HP network switches, routers, wireless equipment and IOT devices.
Basic Knowledge on AD, DNS and DHCP and experience in Managing ESXI server, VNX storage and Windows servers.
Knowledge on infrastructure services, including servers, storage, network, backups and applications like Exchange and SharePoint and Data Center Operations.
Knowledge on O365 Administration, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Azure Active Directory and Intune.
Experience in SASE implementation & operations.
This position may require occasional travel within the region.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the demands of global operations.
