Summary
The individual will be responsible for overseeing key risk management practices in collaboration with Singapore Airlines’ stakeholders. The role includes ensuring alignment and compliance with Singapore Airlines’ risk management program, adapted to Scoot’s operational needs. You will also plan and coordinate regular business continuity tests and group-level exercises, and manage annual risk oversight and assurance in line with Board governance requirements.
Job Description
Participate and coordinate group Strategic Risk exercises
Communicate changes and updates in Group risk management governance and policies
Assess, adapt and implement Group RM into existing business practices in a practical manner
Cascade education or training programmes on various business risks as developed by Singapore Airlines' risk management team for internal stakeholders
Adhere to Board governance standards for risk oversight and assurance
Develop deep familiarity with Enterprise risk management processes and guidelines to be the expert source for consultation for organisation stakeholders
Lead development of risk assessment schedule and administrate Risk Committee meetings
Ongoing review risk profiles to focus on areas of most severe business risks within the risk register
Support discussion with functional tracks to assess changes in risk levels and impact and develop risk mitigation plans
Administrate Scoot's BCM programme and other activities related to continuous monitoring to ensure compliance with various RM practices that are governed by SIA ERM policy
Ensure adequacy, relevance and up-to-datedness of Scoot's BCP document repository
Develop annual BCP testing schedule based on the pre-determined guidelines in partnership with relevant risk owners
Conduct independent BCP test verification and provide guidance on sufficiency of BCP test plans
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline
Broad knowledge of airline industry and associated operations/economics preferable
2-3 years of experience in an operational or commercial department in the airline/aviation sector (e.g., network planning)
2-3 years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management ideal
