Scrum Master

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Scrum Master with a strong background in project and team management for a global MNC. In this role, you will take ownership of activities, ensuring a proactive approach to continuous improvement and transformation. You will lead and coordinate scrum teams, while ensuring program financial goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring their effectiveness and adherence to Agile principles.
2. Monitor/manage Scrum KPIs and communication of results to senior management.
3. Effectively communicate with stakeholders, understand their requirements, and manage expectations to ensure project success.
4. Coordinate project planning, execution, and delivery while considering the nature of the project and the operational challenges faced.
5. Monitor team capacity and project timelines, adjusting priorities and resources to meet sprint objectives and deadlines.
6. Identify and remove impediments to the team's progress, enabling the team to focus on sprint goals and deliverables.
7. Foster collaboration within the team and across teams, encouraging effective communication and a culture of continuous improvement.
8. Identify subject matter experts (SMEs) within the team and delegate tasks accordingly, maximizing team productivity and knowledge sharing.
9. Provide all required financial information about the project.
10. Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial matters.
11. Track project expenditures and analyze budget variances, communicating these to relevant stakeholders.
12. Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports, providing insights on opportunities and risks, and proposing strategies to mitigate financial risks.
13. Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and payments to vendors and contractors.
14. Develop project budgets and financial forecasts, projecting monthly spending and challenging project cash flow.

Key Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
2. Excellent understanding of Scrum processes and execution of Scrum activities.
3. SAFe certification and experience with SAFe projects are highly advantageous.
4. Understanding of financial principles, coupled with practical experience in finance tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
5. Preferably experience in Salesforce implementation projects and SAP ECC integration projects.
6. Experience with Azure DevOps is desirable.
7. Knowledge on the Trade and Transaction processes like trade capture, deal capture etc. will be advantageous.
8. Strong stakeholder management skills to effectively communicate and align project objectives.
9. Capability to thoroughly understand stakeholders' requirements and deliver accordingly.
10. Skillful in crafting presentations with meticulous attention to detail, adept at conveying information to stakeholders.
11. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, large, complex matrix organization.
12. Skillful management of multiple conflicting, evolving priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and handling high volumes of emails.
13. Adaptability to navigating ambiguity and unstructured data, actively suggesting frameworks and procedures, supported by strong organizational skills.
14. Proactive pursuit of excellence, questioning existing standards, and driving continuous improvement.
