SCM Demand Planner

Our client is in the automation industry, transforming the cleaning industry with advanced robotic solutions that tackle manpower challenges. Their innovative robots are already making a difference in 30 countries. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a SCM Demand Planner to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze historical data and current market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
2. Collaborate with production and sales teams to align forecasts with manufacturing capabilities and customer demand.
3. Regularly review and analyze MRP outputs to identify errors or discrepancies in inventory levels and demand forecasts.
4. Spot mistakes in the MRP process and take corrective actions to ensure alignment with actual requirements.
5. Ensure that raw materials are ordered and delivered on time to meet production schedules.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate effective communication and timely deliveries.
7. Work closely with contract manufacturing partners to align on demand planning and inventory management strategies.
8. Communicate demand planning insights, potential issues, and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand planning and inventory management.
10. Implement best practices to enhance forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a demand planner, specifically in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of SCM processes.
3. Proven experience with MRP systems and the ability to analyze and interpret MRP data.
4. Familiarity with contract manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
