About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher to join the Sustainability Informatics & Strategy (SIS) group to work on projects that will shape the long-term decarbonization strategy of Singapore. The candidate will be expected to perform analysis on energy systems models and should be able to communicate and discuss the results with a variety of stakeholders. You should also be passionate about solving national and global problems in climate change.

Job Description

• Conduct cutting-edge R&D on using Gen-AI for modelling energy and sustainability of industrial systems
• Drive the practical application of AI and data-analytics on industry processes and manufacturing
• Build first-principal models in industrial heating processes
• Collect data and relevant information on industrial activities associated with heating

Job Requirements

We strongly prefer candidates with the following technical skills:

• Process modeling skills with at least 1 year experience using Aspen Hysys
• Data-analytics skills in the energy and sustainability domain
• Proficiency in Pytorch & Python

• Developing Generative AI-based tools
• Building and deploying Machine-learning, deep learning, and AI algorithms
