Maintain science equipment and apparatus, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use.
Prepare apparatus and set up materials and equipment for daily lessons, experiments, and practical exams.
Procure science equipment and apparatus for the school.
Conduct annual stock-taking of science equipment and lab apparatus.
Organize resources in the school science laboratory.
Assist science teachers in lesson preparation, when necessary.
Liaise with vendors for servicing and repairs of instruments or equipment.
Repair or arrange for the repair of faulty equipment or apparatus.
Maintain cleanliness of school lab equipment and science rooms.
Monitor the schedule of teachers using the science rooms.
Assist in ensuring safety and maintaining discipline during science laboratory lessons.
IT and Technical Support
Set up IT equipment (e.g., projector, computer, tablet PC, handheld devices) for science lessons.
Perform print jobs and scan documents for science instruction.
Student and Teacher Support
Accompany pupils and teachers on learning journeys, as required.
Attend to injured or sick pupils in the sick bay (minor injuries).
Assist with making phone calls, such as contacting parents of sick pupils.
Ensure safety and assist with discipline during science lessons.
General Administrative Duties
Provide customer service at the reception counter, including attending to visitors, staff, and pupils.
Provide administrative support at the general office, when needed.
Carry out tasks assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principals.
