SAP Process Owner & Project Manager (Warehouse & Label), Asia Pacific

The Regional Business Process Owner and Project Manager for the Warehouse & Label in the APAC region will serve as a critical bridge between IT, external vendors, and internal business teams. This dual role combines strong project management expertise with process ownership responsibilities. While previous experience in warehouse processes is not mandatory, the candidate must possess excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in English. The role focuses on ensuring seamless alignment between business needs and SAP processes, driving project success, and optimizing warehouse & label processes across the APAC region.

The Position:

  • Act as the primary connection point for the Warehouse & Label between IT, external vendors, and internal business units in the APAC region.
  • Serve as the Project Manager for SAP Warehouse & Label module-related initiatives, overseeing the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. The role also includes managing other project related to SAP activities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Warehouse & Label solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of SAP projects related to the Warehouse & Label module, ensuring alignment with business priorities, resource management, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Support test (UAT) preparation/execution, Integration Testing (IT) preparation/execution and documentation test results by users.
  • Support migration activities such as preparation of master and transactional data to be uploaded.
  • Support change management activities by liaising with business and technical teams to minimize disruptions and enhance end-user adoption.
  • Provide training to end-users on the SAP Warehouse & label module, ensuring users are confident and proficient in using the system effectively. This includes responsibility to update training material including local localization.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within the Warehouse module, driving resolution efforts with both IT and external partners. During hyper care, provide 2nd level support after the go-live while being the point of contact for SAP/Phoenix for users.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication between APAC business units, IT teams, and external vendors to facilitate continuous improvement and alignment.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, project progress, and updates to the Warehouse & Label processes.
  • As a functional expert: APAC template keeper while driving its improvements & its maintenance for Warehouse & Label, in case of new business cases and SAP upgrade with Business Managers and the Global Template Team:
    • Contribute to the optimization and redesign of end-to-end (E2E) processes, adhering to standards and striving consolidation and harmonization of processes.
    • Contribute to cost-benefit analyses and budget planning supporting the prioritization process for requirements (in coordination with the Business Leaders)
    • Translate business requirements into functional designs and write the Functional Specifications Document.
    • Verify the potential impact on the respective (existing) processes and functionalities
    • Align with technical resources (Solution Engineers) on possibilities for technical implementation.
    • Participate in the definition of solution architecture and performs minor customizing tasks
    • Write the Functional Specifications Document
    • Ensure availability and reliability of the documentation


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 6 years of experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Purchasing.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in coordinating and leading initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams across the APAC region.
  • Experience in SAP or ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in the APAC region or familiarity with APAC business dynamics.
  • Certification in project management (PMP or similar) is an added advantage.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
