As an SAP Payroll Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining projects; providing consultancy services; specializing in ERP products; ensuring the quality of services and achieving customer satisfaction.
What will you do?
- Provide SAP Payroll HR application maintenance support.
- Support the complex solution to ensure that all the employees (>190K employees) are paid on time.
- Customize payroll schemas, rules, and calculations to comply with local tax, regulatory, and legal requirements, including configuring wage types and deductions.
- Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
- Propose effective work-arounds or alternative solutions, oversee the selection of solutions and estimate resources/cost required to implement the proposed solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Manage changes to configurable items, covering configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits.
- Conduct review & integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables before handing over to users for UAT.
- Develop test packages, execute tests, and document test results to ensure the quality of the program.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience in Payroll Module (PCR, Schema, Wage Types, etc.)
- Preferably at least 4 to 6 years of experience with implementation/maintenance, consulting, pre-sales, or as an end-user using the above product.
- Good knowledge with hands-on experience in managing IT incidents and problems.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to quickly establish the cause of system issues reported.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others to resolve problems.
- Ability to communicate information well to co-workers and management verbally and in writing.
- Able to work independently as well as an excellent team player.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your work.
A degree in Computer Science or related disciplines is required.
