SAP Finance Pillar Lead and Project Manager

• Manage and mentor a team of SAP finance consultants, including permanent employees and subcontractors.
• Establish and enforce quality standards for deliverables to align with finance best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct regular work reviews to maintain high-quality outputs and compliance with client and project requirements.
• Foster knowledge-sharing within the team and promote continuous professional development through training and mentoring.
• Ensure the utilization targets of the team members.

Finance Architecture & Solution Design

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end SAP finance solutions, covering SAP S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Treasury, Funds Management, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Controlling, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Oversee integration between SAP finance modules and external systems, including third-party financial tools and platforms.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) through proper system configuration and process alignment.
• Manage SAP finance landscapes, including data governance, reporting, and analytics.

Project Delivery & Quality Control

• Drive the successful delivery of SAP finance projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Lead efforts in financial data migration, cleansing, and transformation during new implementations or upgrades.
• Provide functional leadership to troubleshoot and resolve issues in financial processes, ensuring system stability and operational excellence.

Governance & Compliance

• Define governance frameworks to ensure consistent and compliant financial process delivery across projects.
• Implement robust controls and monitoring to maintain data accuracy, financial security, and system health.

Presales & Business Development

• Lead presales activities related to finance solutions, including business process analysis, proposal creation, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities in finance transformation and innovation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on financial best practices and SAP innovations.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with SAP vendors, partners, and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of finance solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key client discussions, providing expertise on finance process optimization and technical solutions.

Project Management

• Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and kept within the approved budget.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues that may impact the schedule, budget, or quality of the project.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring all team members are clear on their roles and responsibilities, and providing guidance and support as needed.
• Regularly monitor project progress, adjust plans as necessary, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure the final deliverables meet the quality standards set for the project.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, and meeting notes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 15+ years of experience in SAP finance solutions, with expertise in areas such as SAP S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Treasury, and Controlling.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor large functional teams (20+ members), including permanent staff and subcontractors.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP financial modules and their integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Hands-on experience with financial data migration, analytics, and compliance with financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Demonstrated success in project delivery with a focus on quality control and governance.
• Strong experience in presales, including crafting financial solutions, proposals, and conducting client presentations.
• Familiarity with SAP cloud (e.g., SAP Private and Public Cloud) and finance-related system performance optimization.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Previous experience of handling projects as project manager.
• SAP Certifications in relevant areas such as SAP S/4HANA Finance, Treasury, or Central Finance are highly desirable.
