Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, including design, development, integration, and deployment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce solutions, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage both onshore and offshore teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Ownership
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related discussions throughout the project lifecycle: Foundation, Build, Testing (SIT & UAT), Data Migration, Deployment (Go-Live and Hypercare).
- Define Salesforce project scope, timelines, deliverables, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with both client and consulting teams to align Salesforce solutions with business objectives.
- Conduct regular status meetings (daily, weekly, monthly) and provide progress updates to stakeholders and leadership.
2. Technical Leadership
- Design scalable and robust Salesforce solutions, including data models, security models, workflows, custom objects, and integrations.
- Oversee development activities, ensuring compliance with Salesforce best practices and governance limits.
- Lead Salesforce environment readiness and manage reusable components (e.g., custom objects, Lightning Web Components, Apex triggers).
- Ensure efficient integration of Salesforce with SAP ERP systems and other third-party platforms.
3. Functional Expertise
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions tailored to the CPG sector.
- Conduct gap analyses to ensure alignment of solutions with business goals, including order management, field service operations, and inventory tracking.
- Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept for complex features or functionality.
4. Project Deliverables
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including:
- Business Blueprint Document
- Solution Design (High-Level and Low-Level)
- Functional & Technical Specifications
- Deployment Plans and Post-Deployment Support Documents
5. Offshore Team Management
- Manage and mentor offshore teams, ensuring effective task allocation and monitoring progress.
6. Risk and Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Extensive Salesforce Expertise: Proficient in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Field Service, and Experience Cloud.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Salesforce data models, workflows, custom objects, Lightning components, and integrations.
- Integration Knowledge: Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with SAP ERP systems and other external platforms.
- CPG Sector Experience: Familiarity with industry-specific processes like order management, inventory tracking, and field service.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage offshore resources effectively.
- Certifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect) are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
