Sales Support Officer (Marine Equipment, Korean Speaking)

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a client specializing in comprehensive lifecycle services for ships, machinery, and power plants. Established in 2016, the company offers a range of services, including maintenance, repair, retrofitting, and performance optimization, ensuring that vessels and equipment operate efficiently throughout their lifespan.

As a Sales Support Officer (Korean Speaking), you will manage customer inquiries, support sales operations, and handle key sales processes. You should excel at independent work, client negotiations, and communicating with HQ in Korean, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

• Work location: Central
• Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm, 30mins early release 1 day per week / Hybrid Work Model (1 day WFH)
• Salary: up to $4,000 + AWS + VB

The Job:

• Handle customer inquiries independently and liaise effectively with HQ and internal teams.
• Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring prompt responses and thorough follow-ups.
• Conduct negotiations for bulk orders and long-term contracts, securing mutually beneficial agreements.
• Maintain accurate commercial and technical documentation, ensuring all data is current.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate sales activities and projects.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships through clear communication and efficient problem resolution.

The Talent:

• Strong negotiation skills with experience leading sales discussions.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and documentation.
• Experience in the marine or shipping industry is advantageous, with Korean language proficiency for HQ communications.
