The opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, primarily general practitioners. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders to develop prescribers and achieve sales targets.
How you’ll spend your day
- Promote and sell prescription drugs and other company products to assigned clinics and general practitioners.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs Manager, Marketing Manager, Digital Executive, and other internal stakeholders to develop prescribers for focus products.
- Achieve sales targets and execute sales plans in line with business strategy.
- Maintain updated records of customer profiles.
- Participate in marketing and sales promotional activities to drive product awareness and prescriptions.
- Communicate marketplace information and competitor activities to the manager and marketing department.
- Organize and participate in product demonstrations, contracts, and customer engagement activities.
- Provide timely monthly forecasts to the line manager.
Your experience and qualifications
- 1-3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in selling generic medicine
- Diploma or Degree in pharmaceutical, nursing, bioscience, nutrition, or other health sciences
- Proven sales records in the private channel
- Experience in organizing and participating in marketing activities, product demonstrations, and customer engagement activities
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, and communication skills
- VeeVa CRM experience highly desirable and strong Excel skills
- Willingness to travel to visit customers
- Prior relationships in the industry will be highly regarded
