Job description

Due to the company's plan to increase its presence and expand its business, we are looking for a responsible and committed Sales Operations.

You will be based in Singapore, and will be responsible for coordinating information (as in enquiries, questions or issues) between the customers and the relevant internal stakeholders and also for coordinating information (as in pricing and product availability) between the company and suppliers/partners. Your role’s main focus is to maintain the effectiveness of our communications to ensure that the sales of the company is maintained by responding in a timely and accurate manner to customers and suppliers alike. Your first task is to familiarize yourself with and achieve a complete grasp of the primary business process in order to perform your duties and also to be ready to support any function of the primary business process (particularly for the Building Services business unit). In addition, you will perform any secondary functions that the Senior Executive, Business Administration might assign you to. You are part of the Operations Team and will report to the Senior Executive, Business Administration.

What will you do?

  • Support the Business Development and Sales Department, particularly the Building Services business unit, to generate more sales to increase the company profit.
  • Prepare documents such as quotations, meeting minutes, project lists, and sales reports for the Building Services business unit.
  • Proactively generate sales leads for the Building Services business unit (LinkedIn, BCI, etc.).
  • Conduct market surveys and identify opportunities and trends in the market.
  • Coordinate and negotiate to get the best price for the procurement of products with the suppliers.
  • Ensure that payments from customers will be made on time.
  • Support any function of the primary business process when needed.
  • Provide support for any task(s) that the Senior Executive, Business Administration assigns to you.
  • Conduct sourcing when customers request products that we do not normally stock.
  • Effectively communicate all information that you have obtained or created to your direct report and the management.
