Our client is a leading provider of spare parts and service solutions, supporting the equipment portfolio and vessels of a renowned global marine group.

They are looking for a responsible and self-motivated Sales Officer (Korean-speaking) to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently. Mainly, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, supporting the sales team, and managing key sales processes. You should be comfortable working independently and negotiating deals with clients.

Reporting to: Team Leader/Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Handle customer inquiries independently and ensure effective communication with HQ and internal teams.
2. Manage daily sales operations, ensuring prompt responses and follow-ups.
3. Negotiate bulk orders and long-term contracts, securing mutually beneficial agreements.
4. Maintain accuracy and up-to-date records of all commercial and technical data.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate sales processes efficiently.
6. Regularly update databases and generate reports as required.
7. Support the sales team in various projects and initiatives.
8. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements & Preferences:

Must:

• Diploma in Business, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of sales experience in the Maritime and Shipping industry, specifically in Marine Spare Parts.
• Inexperienced candidates with relevant studies and a strong interest in Maritime sales are welcome!
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to lead sales discussions.
• Fluency in English and Korean (TOPIK Level 6)—both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with English and Korean-speaking customers.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage tasks efficiently.

Advantageous:

• Familiarity in MNC or Korean company environment would be a plus
• Ability to join within 1 month's notice or short notice
