ABI Research is seeking a Sales & Marketing Operations Specialist to strengthen sales efforts in the Asia Pacific region. The role will support existing clients, drive demand from new clients, and sit at the intersection of several key internal teams: Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Client Success. This role is based in Singapore or London and will work closely with our New York- and London-based teams.
This position offers a unique opportunity for someone eager to gain exposure to various business functions, with potential for growth across sales, marketing, and client management. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, analytically minded, and capable of quickly mastering sales and marketing technology platforms.
This position will have a dual-reporting structure to the General Manager, Asia Pacific, and to the Sales Operations Team Lead.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Sales Campaigns & Support:
- Set up and manage localized sales campaigns in collaboration with the sales team to target potential clients in the region.
- Assist with data entry, lead tracking, and sales operations to streamline processes for the regional sales team.
- Marketing Operations:
- Coordinate and execute regional marketing campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, and event marketing.
- Assist with creating localized content for marketing materials and digital campaigns to drive lead generation and brand awareness in the Asia Pacific region.
- Help develop relationships with media, conference organizers, and other external partners to increase ABI Research’s visibility in the region.
- Collaborate with analysts to arrange critical meetings with key industry stakeholders to support research and strategic initiatives.
- Client & Analyst Support:
- Support the client success team by managing relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of service.
- Liaise with clients regarding their online access, modifying their account, processing paperwork for invoicing and troubleshooting problems.
- Technology & Data Management:
- Maintain and optimize the use of sales and marketing technology, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and reporting tools.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to provide actionable insights for sales and marketing strategy adjustments.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, marketing, or a related function.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships and work with international teams.
- Experience with CRM software (HubSpot CRM) and marketing automation (HubSpot) tools.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Location:
ABI Research is open to candidates in Singapore or London for this role. This will be a hybrid role, with time working both remote and in office – either the London or Singapore office.
