Golf Industry | Mixture of Retail & non-Retailed Clientele

About Our Client
Our client is one of the leading golf sporting goods distributors in SEA. They are an authorised distributor of some of the most prestigious international golf brands, for both equipment and apparel. They are now looking for a Sales Manager to support their growth in Retail and non-Retail (corporate, events) segments in Singapore.

Job Description

  1. Create and implement sales strategies to identify key target clients, industries, and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  3. Drive revenue growth through non-retail channels to achieve sales targets.
  4. Engage potential clients and strategic brand partners to convert sales opportunities.
  5. Manage the day-to-day support of sales enquiries and provide prompt responses and feedback.
  6. Ensure sales integrity and maintain price integrity in the market.
  7. Plan, lead, and execute golf sales events to achieve KPIs and customer satisfaction.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, commercial, retail operations, and technical support, to ensure efficient planning and execution.
  9. Oversee sales events as the person in charge to ensure smooth operation, work safety, inventory security, and customer experience.
  10. Review sales event performance, outcomes, and improvement areas.
  11. Establish a sales network through regular contact with referral sources and generate sales leads.
  12. Build and cultivate a long-term relationship with all clients with an emphasis on good after-sales service.
  13. Listen to client requirements and collaborate with partners to offer personalised solutions.
  14. Take ownership of the P&L and budget for all non-retail sales initiatives.
  15. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor business development activities against budget and forecast.
  16. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on business development initiatives, successes, and challenges.

The Successful Applicant

  1. About 5 years of experience selling to Wholesale Retailers & Corporate.
  2. Effective interpersonal/communication skills to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Solid business acumen and track record as a sales or business development manager.
  4. Strong internal relationships and influence over stakeholders of different functions and levels.
  5. Knowledge in the golf industry is a plus.
