Job Overview:

  • As a Sales Manager within the organization, your responsibilities go beyond traditional sales tasks. In addition to driving revenue growth, facilitating efficient processes, and exploring business development opportunities, you will also be accountable for overseeing sales order management to ensure smooth and streamlined processing of customer orders. This role reports directly to the Manager of Sales and Marketing (ASEAN).
  • The position demands substantial expertise and discernment in order to effectively lead and manage the sales team towards achieving sales targets and fostering business growth. You will be responsible for devising and implementing sales strategies, establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships, and making significant contributions to the overall success of the organization. This role necessitates a solid sales background, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, preferences, and market dynamics within the assigned zone or territory and using customer insights and market trends to identify and define business priorities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and tailor strategies to capitalize on them. Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies to ensure competitiveness and maximize results.
  • Deploy the plan of action, closely monitoring its implementation, measuring any differences, and generating performance reports. Analyzing the areas that require corrective measures if necessary.
  • Oversee the sales order management process to ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer orders. Ensure timely order entry, review quotations, coordinate with relevant team members, and resolve any order-related issues or inquiries. Optimize order management processes for improved efficiency.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand the customer base and drive sales growth. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding customer needs, and providing solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive advantages. Utilize findings to inform sales strategies and differentiate the organization's offerings.
  • Monitor and track the execution of the operational action plan, continuously evaluating results against targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify performance gaps and implement measures to address them, aiming to maximize sales opportunities and drive overall sales performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the legal and finance departments to address any identified risk areas and implement effective risk management strategies, including credit risk control measures.
  • Develop an annual plan or budget for the assigned accounts, taking into consideration sales targets, market conditions, and growth opportunities. Ensure alignment of the plan with the overall business strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed performance goals. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to optimize individual and team performance. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the tire industry and working with fleet customers and dealers, especially in TBR technical sales and service support.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, capable of effectively managing and motivating a diverse team of professionals.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and business acumen, enabling the identification and leveraging of market opportunities and challenges.
  • Results-driven mindset, dedicated to achieving business targets while upholding high ethical standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural and fast-paced environment, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
