Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for semiconductor equipment and test socket products to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Identify key markets, potential customers, and opportunities for business development.
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Drive negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers within semiconductor companies.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultative support to customers to ensure proper product selection and use.
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate market needs to the product development teams.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive products, and customer needs within the semiconductor industry.
  • Analyse competitors and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with Engineering, R&D, and Product Management Teams to align product offerings with customer requirements.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop effective campaigns and promotional activities for new products.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and post-sales support.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and product trends.
  • Provide feedback to management on market demands and suggest potential product improvements or new offerings.

Qualifications:

  • At least Diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field (a technical degree is often preferred).
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, test sockets, or related products.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong technical understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Negotiation and contract management expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex technical information.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales analytics software.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 50%).
