Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth while working closely with the supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless product flow and customer satisfaction. The primary focus is on fatty acids or animal nutrition-related products.

We need a professional who is not only skilled in driving sales but also capable of overseeing the entire process—from customer engagement to product delivery—ensuring that all aspects of the sales cycle and logistics run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Account Management

  1. Develop and manage relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners in the oleochemicals sector.
  2. Identify new business opportunities, expand customer base, and achieve sales targets.
  3. Manage sales forecasting, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  4. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product solutions.
  5. Ensure timely communication with clients regarding orders, deliveries, and product inquiries.

Supply Planning & Coordination

  1. Work closely with the Supply Chain team to plan and manage product availability.
  2. Monitor inventory levels, production schedules, and delivery timelines to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  3. Collaborate with manufacturing plants to coordinate product flow, especially during peak demand periods or supply chain disruptions.
  4. Provide accurate sales forecasts to support supply planning and inventory management.

Logistics & Operations Support

  1. Liaise with logistics teams to coordinate shipments, manage shipping schedules, and resolve delivery issues.
  2. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and manage necessary documentation for imports/exports.
  3. Support operational efficiency by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the supply chain process.
  4. Track product movement, delivery performance, and provide solutions for logistical challenges.

Reporting & Analysis

  1. Prepare regular sales reports, demand forecasts, and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  2. Track key metrics such as sales performance, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment rates.
  3. Provide insights to internal teams on market conditions, customer requirements, and product positioning.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, or related fields.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in oleochemicals, chemical sales, or supply chain roles.
  3. Strong knowledge of supply planning, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  4. Experience in handling customer accounts with a focus on delivering timely solutions.
  5. Familiarity with trade regulations, shipping documentation, and international logistics is advantageous.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools to support reporting and forecasting.
