SALES MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Sales Managers play a pivotal role in any business where selling and marketing is critical to success. Being a Sales Manager is all about achieving goals, leading a sales team and managing people and their time. You are required to have a comprehensive understanding of their company’s products and/or services, and must be able to perform well in highly pressurised environments. You are to maximize the potential of the sales team, establish sales plans, and justify these plans to higher management. Your aim is to expand the customer base of the company and its strong presence in the market.
You are responsible for designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence. Apart from increasing revenue, you are responsible for achieving sales objectives, hiring and developing staff, as well as managing sales districts.
