Sales Executive (Valves)

Job Description:

Our client, a Japanese manufacturer of valves and actuators, is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team. This role will involve managing both existing clients and business development.

• Sales and marketing of valves (Own and well-known brand in the industry), and able to secure & generate sales of valves & Actuators to achieve company order targets.

• Aggressively develop new business (sales) from scratch.

• Establish relationships with End Users (Industrial Market, main Market is semiconductor, & petrochemical related) who use valves, gathering market information and expanding sales.

• Conduct market surveys of new business fields and reporting.

• Work closely and liaise with related divisions such as Sales Team, Warehouse, Engineering, Factories, Japan head office.

• Properly understand the needs from customers and follow up on ongoing projects.

• Patiently communicate with customers if a claim occurs, and liaise with related divisions to solve the problem.

• A highly dedicated, responsible & passionate person who can perform tasks accurately & promptly, and is able to work under pressure by taking challenges.

• Ad-hoc duties assigned by MD or GM.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience related to valves, actuators & similar industry in sales including planning sales approach.

• Proactive attitude to analyze the current situation and change to a better way (Depending on the performance, this position could be the future Senior Manager).

• Proactive attitude to hit the target and logical way of thinking, and to develop new business and sales channels.

• General skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP, ARIBA, AutoCad.

• Good people management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
