• Position: Sales Executive (Freight/Forwarding) – Up to $5,000 – Temasek Avenue
• Location: Temasek Avenue
• Working hours: 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8.45 AM to 6.00 PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 + Mobile Claims + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Medical Allowance (No Cap) + Dental (up to $300 per year) + Gym ($150 per month)

Responsibilities:

• Management of MLO / NVOCC account – complete responsibility for all assigned
• MLO/NVOCC account for their requirements on all trade lanes and basic follow up calls.
• Active participation in the end-to-end sales process involving proposal/quotation/BAF notice/Rate Negotiation/Closing spot Ad hoc rates
• Making sure dead freight contracts are running well and in case of any assistance ensure regular calls are done to the concerned client for DF arrangement.
• Ensure and achieve the sales target set for various trade/service corridors. Oversee agency performance.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationship through regular calls and customers meetings. Handle customer complaints and provide corrective actions promptly.
• Identify customers' needs, opportunities and key buying factors to provide tailor-made solutions.
• Attend to customers’ queries on product and service on daily basis.
• Source and develop client referrals.
• Work closely with cross functions and relay important information.
• Monitor competition, market conditions and product development through close dialogue/engagement with agents/customers, to consider the appropriate actions.
• Contributing to the development of marketing strategies.
• Develop and maintain a customer database with sales activity record.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the freight shipping or forwarding industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
