Sales Executive/Assistant Sales Manager

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager to join our team.

This role is responsible for generating revenue through proactive sales efforts in Room Sales and Event Sales, supporting the Director of Sales (DOS) in achieving business targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sales and Business Development
   1. Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential partners to drive room bookings and event sales.
   2. Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to potential and existing clients.
   3. Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.
   4. Assist in the preparation and execution of sales strategies to maximize revenue.
   5. Identify new marketing opportunities and analyze market trends by reviewing monthly reports and sales forecasts.
   6. Solicit existing & new account bases to generate bookings and achieve hotel revenue goals in occupancy, average rates and events.
2. Event Sales and Coordination
   1. Promote and sell hotel event spaces for corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and other social events.
   2. Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of booked events.
   3. Provide customized solutions to clients and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
   4. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
3. Collaboration & Reporting
   1. Work closely with the Director of Sales (DOS) to achieve department goals.
   2. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue reports.
   3. Assist in preparing sales forecasts and performance analysis.
   4. Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
   5. Promptly respond to all forms of inquiries.
   6. Maintain flexibility to perform other duties and projects as required to support the Hotel’s overall business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or related major.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity in sales and marketing or related field.

• Proven ability to sell, plan & execute events effectively with a strong attention to detail.
• Good understanding of all hotel departments.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other industry systems such as Opera.
