Sales Executive
Job description
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
- Gather customer feedback to improve products/services.
3. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead.
4. Administrative & Reporting Tasks
- Prepare and maintain sales reports and records.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance to management.
- Ensure accurate and timely order processing and invoicing.
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Work closely with other sales, operations and logistics teams to achieve high and timely customer fulfilment rates.
- Work with business support team to ensure timely collection of receivables and constantly reviewing credit facilities given to customers.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, written, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Possess a positive attitude, always proactive and results-oriented.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin languages (written and spoken) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Relevant experience in Sales, Marketing or Public Relations & Communications roles will be advantageous.
- Relevant experience in metal hardware trading industry will be considered for senior positions.
