Job description

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve products/services.

3. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead.

4. Administrative & Reporting Tasks

  • Prepare and maintain sales reports and records.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance to management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order processing and invoicing.

5. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with other sales, operations and logistics teams to achieve high and timely customer fulfilment rates.
  • Work with business support team to ensure timely collection of receivables and constantly reviewing credit facilities given to customers.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, written, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Possess a positive attitude, always proactive and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin languages (written and spoken) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Relevant experience in Sales, Marketing or Public Relations & Communications roles will be advantageous.
  • Relevant experience in metal hardware trading industry will be considered for senior positions.
