Job description

The Plattering Co is known for its creative and hearty sharing platters, bowls and bentos and beautiful cheese platters and grazing table displays.

We are seeking a motivated and positive Sales Executive to join our dynamic and fast- growing team. The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting our catering and bento services. You will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets, understanding market trends, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the corporate, hospitality, and event sectors.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and online research.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.

Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Understand client needs and customize catering packages to meet their requirements.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.

Sales Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities and improve service offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales materials.

Event Coordination & Follow-Up:

  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services for events.
  • Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
  • Resolve any issues or complaints to maintain a positive client relationship.

Reporting:

  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Track and monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in business management, hospitality or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role, preferably in the catering, F&B, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
