Job description

Allied Food is a food import and distribution company under the Allied Container Group. It is a mid-sized enterprise based in Singapore with over 300 employees. We collaborate with leading large corporations in Korea, Malaysia, and Japan.

Currently, Singapore is only 10% self-sufficient in food production, importing 90% of its food. The outlook for this industry is positive and sustainable. Due to business expansion, we are currently recruiting employees to carry out the following tasks. We encourage talented and passionate individuals to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures a strong market presence.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition.
  • Manage B2B customer relationships, including plans to introduce food ingredients and other products in the future, to build lasting mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Achieve service delivery metrics for bulk and prepack flour and sugar customers and liaise with the relevant teams.
  • Drive sales performance through the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives to achieve targets.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key and potential clients, interact with business partners, and provide expert knowledge and support to ensure operational excellence and the consistent application of operating standards.
  • Develop business plans and sales/marketing strategies for the targeted market, products, and applications that ensure the achievement of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Deeply understand sales strategies and plans to ensure sustainable business growth with consistent sales increases.
  • Penetrate into end-markets to identify unmet needs and offer value-added solutions to increase sales revenue.
  • Maintain close relationships with distributors to support their sales activities.
  • Analyze the condition of the territory and the potential market of each country to focus on effective business development.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an excellent 4-year university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Fluent in English (Japanese language skills are a plus).
  • Eligible to obtain a WP (Work Pass).
  • Ability to drive is a plus.
