Opportunity Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager / Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be the key driver of business growth, managing strategic customer relationships and helping shape Teradyne’s sales and product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  1. Customer Advocacy & Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor, advocating for customer needs while aligning with Teradyne’s objectives.
  2. Business Growth & Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand business with both existing and new customers.
  3. Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  4. Drive complex, long-cycle sales engagements from design-in to order booking.
  5. Develop competitive strategies to win market share.
  6. Align Teradyne’s product roadmaps with customer needs.
  7. Provide accurate sales forecasting, quoting, and order management.
  8. Global Customer Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate global sales strategies, including collaboration with Teradyne’s worldwide test subcontract sales teams.
  9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships internally and externally at all levels of the organization.
  10. Travel: Willingness to travel 25% or more as required.

  1. 5+ years of experience in capital equipment sales or business development within the Semiconductor or related industry.
  2. BSEE or equivalent degree (MBA is a plus).
  3. Proven ability to drive long sales cycle design-ins and successfully close deals.
  4. Strong customer empathy—you understand their needs and work proactively to address them.
  5. Exceptional communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  6. A self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-based environments.
