Job Description

We are hiring Sales Engineer for various departments:
  1. Service Contract Sales & Admin
  2. Consulting Sales
  3. Solution Business
  4. National Accounts
  5. Project Sales
  6. Applied Sales

Note that you will only be posted to one department based on your suitability and preferred choice.


Responsibilities:

Service Contract Sales & Admin
  • Grow Service contract sales by planning & achieving sales objectives & sales target
  • Develop new accounts while maintaining existing accounts
  • Create, plan and deliver presentations on various services as well as solutions catered to customer needs
  • Establish and maintain strong rapport with clients
  • Prepare costing and contract quotes
  • Prepare sales reports
  • Attend to customers' inquiries, feedbacks, and complaints
  • Coordinate with colleagues to optimize sales efforts
  • Follow up & collection of payments
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Consulting Sales/ Solution Business
  • Planning & achieving sales objectives & monthly sales targets
  • Generate new customer lists with existing customer base
  • Create value for customers with Daikin's solutions
  • Liaise and meet with customers to generate new sales and provide technical support, as required
  • Establish and maintain strong rapport with architects/homeowners/consultants to promote sales
  • Pre-sales preparation such as preparing project budgetary prices, quotations, costings, completion of technical specifications, delivering catalogues, and engineering data to customers
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

National Accounts / Project Sales/ Applied Sales
  • Planning & achieving sales objectives & monthly sales targets
  • Manage existing customer base and develop new customers
  • Able to present and introduce products/services with in-depth knowledge
  • Liaise and meet with customers to grow new sales and provide technical support, as required
  • Establish and maintain strong rapport with a network of contractors/consultants/developers to promote sales
  • Pre-sales preparation such as preparing project budgetary prices, quotations, costings, completion of technical specifications, delivering catalogues, and engineering data to customers
  • Collection and follow up of payments
  • Prepare sales and delivery orders, update delivery schedules, and ensure goods are delivered on schedule, as required
  • Attend site meetings, address customer complaints, and subsequently coordinate and follow up with internal departments to resolve issues
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirement

Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Sales background with knowledge in air-conditioning industry is an added advantage
  • Strong salesmanship, customer-oriented, and results-focused
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Computer literate, knowledge in Microsoft applications is a must
  • Applicants with own cars will be given priority
  • Candidates with a keen interest in developing a career in the air-con industry are welcomed to apply

Applicant must be prepared for business travel to the Asean-Oceania region when required.
