About the Role

As a Sales Director, you will support the Brand Director in developing and executing innovative sales strategies to generate revenue and maximize performance for both short- and long-term goals. You will manage and build a robust sales team, driving overall sales performance and ensuring the brand’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop annual sales and delivery plans for the sales team
  2. Cascade sales objectives through to the sales team and define targets
  3. Lead, supervise, and monitor the sales performance of individual sales personnel, taking corrective measures as needed
  4. Measure staff performance levels according to retail sales excellence and company policy standards
  5. Coordinate with and support the Marketing Communications team in marketing activities, such as road shows, campaigns, and events

Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  4. Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  5. Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics
  6. Expertise in analysing, developing, and executing complex strategic projects and departmental strategies to achieve business objectives
  7. Skilled in designing, developing, and delivering tools and training programs across various retail/business disciplines to large, diverse audiences
  8. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  9. Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus
