Develop and manage the overall sales strategy and sales plan for the Insurance vertical
Primary accountability is for driving sales/revenue growth.
New client acquisition
Client Prospecting: Engaging with current and potential clients regarding business and partnering opportunities and converting opportunities to mutually beneficial business outcomes.
Developing and/or extending ecosystem partnerships to enhance client solutions, particularly those that are highly relevant to Insurance
Instigating and/or conducting research into industry and business landscapes and themes, and connecting these to existing, emerging and/or new and customized technologies and solutions.
Developing propositions associated with tender requests and client engagements, inclusive of options and incorporating thought leadership.
Experience in insurance industries and companies and connected and associated technologies.
Demonstrated experience in consulting and delivering Insurance industry projects and business outcomes.
Needs to have at least 3 years’ experience working in IT Services organizations (similar size and scale as HCL Tech) executing in a global delivery model
Demonstrated experience in identifying, analyzing and articulating the insurance industry and specific business problems/opportunities, and conceptualizing and communicating pragmatic and holistic ideas and solutions, employing various consulting practices and methodologies.
A track record of building sustained relationships and growing business.
Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, financial analysis, stakeholder management, change management, and issue and risk management.
Working with cross-functional & multi-location teams: Significant experience in leading proposal development, tender and bid teams, negotiation, and commercial terms for large deals.
Leadership, management, and delivery of positive business impacts and outcomes through client and/or ecosystem partnering, and the application of fit-for-purpose solutions.
Technology and/or Insurance industry qualifications, coupled with business qualifications.
Competency / Other
Master’s / bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, Computer Science or equivalent background
The ability to travel to customer sites, channel partners, internal meetings and/or events (national and/or international).
Capability to work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.
