Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to spearhead the growth and expansion of our client’s Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) business. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the electronics industry, a deep understanding of PCBA and EMS processes, and a proven track record of securing and managing key customer accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies to drive revenue and market share growth in the EMS sector.
  2. Manage the entire business development lifecycle, from lead generation and prospecting to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  3. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to support long-term business objectives.
  4. Canvass and acquire new EMS customers, particularly in sectors such as consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, and medical devices.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to customer needs and competitive positioning.
  6. Build, maintain, and expand strong client relationships, ensuring consistent communication, service excellence, and customer satisfaction.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, procurement) to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.
  8. Explore cross-selling opportunities and joint marketing initiatives to expand business reach and profitability.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years’ of experience in sales or business development within the EMS / contract manufacturing industry.
  3. Well-established network and relationships within the electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
  4. Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, NPI (New Product Introduction), and supply chain considerations.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work independently, generate leads, and convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  7. Strategic, analytical, and commercially savvy with a strong drive for results.
  8. Leadership experience and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across teams.
  9. Willingness to travel regionally or globally as required.
