Job description

Role Overview:

The Sales Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of strategic sales plans. This role involves managing a sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients to achieve sales targets. The Sales Director will play a critical role in expanding MIS's market presence and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
    - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
    - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the institute's client base.
    - Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  2. Team Management:
    - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals.
    - Set performance targets and monitor team performance to ensure targets are met.
    - Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    - Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
    - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
  4. Sales Operations:
    - Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities.
    - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns.
    - Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  5. Event Participation:
    - Represent MIS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
    - Promote MIS's courses, certifications, and events to potential clients and partners.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the marketing and education sectors is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Compensation:
Apart from base pay, you are entitled to a commission scheme as well.
