WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS: Known internally as the Sales Support Executive, the Sales Coordinator role is based in Singapore and is responsible for assisting the Oceania Cruises Team in servicing Travel Trade and Consumer clients within the Asia market (excluding Japan) to achieve sales targets. Specific responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to):

• Respond to general sales enquiries and follow up on sales referrals, identifying client needs and following up on all client requests.
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to clients.
• Complete general office administration duties – liaising with other departments including Marketing, Call Centre and Finance.
• Oversee the daily operation of the sales office and coordinate and assist with the preparation of sales trips and sales events.
• Work closely with Management to ensure targets are met and relationships with Travel Trade are optimized.
• Prepare sales presentations, ship tours and events as required.
• Coordination with various Ports, and organizing/sending Manifests to various ships.
• Prepare proposals and contracts as required.
• Manage marketing co-op expenditures and copyrighting of marketing promotions.
• Handle translation issues whenever necessary.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and/or sales coordination experience.
• Trilingual – English, Mandarin and Cantonese proficiency is required in this role. Excellent translation skills are a must, with the ability to edit marketing material that is written in English, to Chinese language.
• Minimum 1 year background experience in Travel, Tourism or Hotel Industry – either at Travel Agent capacity or Sales and Marketing department experience.
• Well presented, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences.
• A fun, personable and passionate personality – we are looking for someone with an excellent attitude and is committed to their craft.
• Superior organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Highly proficient in WhatsApp is a necessity.
• Pragmatic mindset with a ‘hands on’ approach to their work.
• Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent levels of initiative, self-motivation and enthusiasm.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM (preferable).
• Flexible availability – the role will involve participation in events, seminars and expos which sometimes fall outside of ‘normal’ business hours. Travel at times may be required as well.
